Shay-lon is a certified ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Personal Trainer, with her degree in Exercise Science & background knowledge in Strength & Conditioning. Since being a basketball, softball and track & field athlete most of her life, she has learned how to transform/shape her body & produce results that have allowed her to compete in all levels & gain the confidence she needs to excel in each sport. Now, Shay-lon is looking forward to her first powerlifting meet in hopes she can push her body to new levels and gain new experience. Her motto is "a strong body needs a strong mindset, balance is key" (if you don't have the right mindset, you won't produce the results you are looking for) this same motto has helped many of her clients now & in the past meet their goals & stick with them. As of now, her goals are to continue her career as a certified personal trainer and help people build their confidence & physique to their standards, be able to travel and train people in different areas of OH (eventually maybe moving state to state or having an online based training for those out of state), creating a podcast that is fun, unique and informative! as well as writing for print & online magazines/sites (bodybuilding.com, Muscle and Fitness, IDEAfit, etc) and become a fitness motivational speaker to push for health & fitness in all communities; as well as continue her journey as a powerlifter working with Matt Wenning in Columbus, OH.
